The Gameplay
There are many ways in which you can enjoy the lore and immersive landscape, play-and-earn, and meet new people in the Mummy world. There are 60 km of open-world to explore where you can find Dungeons ruled by powerful bosses, ancient cities with taverns and hubs for socialising, an Arena for gruesome battles, wildlife that you can tame into pets and own as NFTs, and many opportunities to practice life skills and master professions.
You can also go on quests, join a Guild or start your own and go on many adventures to add riches to your guild’s treasury. Our fast-paced combat system empowers you to become a master by improving your combat abilities and efficiency for dodges, parries, blocks, and chain skills through hard and complex battles.The game is highly dynamic and reaction-intensive, which encourages complete immersion, prompting you to enter a state of flow.
Your hideout is your own to customise as you wish- ancient temple, lush oasis, or even a place among the stars, as well as add decorative NFT elements, and even a personalised soundtrack experience that you can enjoy while hanging out with friends.
In-game Economy
All the while you earn gold that can be transformed into $MMY, as well as NFTs and other in-game assets. All NFTs can be sold, traded or purchased on the Mummy Marketplace, as well as from our in-game Auction house. In-game assets such as consumables, accessories for pets, armor and other clothing items can also be sold or purchased from NPCs in various cities, as well as from our Premium Shop. We strive to create a robust in-game economy that will be designed in partnership with Machinations who will then continuously monitor, predict and alert on trends based on live players and market data after the launch of the game.
Soul NFTs
In Ancient Egypt a person was believed to possess 9 different Souls that could manifest themselves in unique ways and allow them to experience different aspects of the world. Players can choose to collect them in the form of NFTs to have a complete character that comes with unique perks. Some Soul NFTs can be earned after completing certain quests, some can be purchased from the Marketplace, and others can be minted after abiding by certain rules. In the future, we aim to create the Soul NFTs in collaboration with established as well as up-and-coming artists.
Each Soul NFT comes with special in-game utility: the Ren Soul can be used to change factions as it is associated with identity, the Ba Soul, the personality, comes in the form of a bird that adds an extra layer of immersion for the players — they may gain the ability to read certain hieroglyphs or interact with Colossi, for example.
